Who was behind the Nord Stream attacks? - The Post

Ultimately, it’s unlikely we’ll ever know who the real culprit is. One thing is clear, though: the attack marks a dangerous escalation in the West’s proxy war with Russia.

It is very odd. I'm a strong supporter of Ukraine not just because of my lovely daughter-in-law and her beautiful country, but also because I generally oppose Sauron, Mordor and all the orcs who swarm out of there to despoil their neighbors. That said, this sabotage looks a lot more like a CIA op than anything else. I don't see what Russia has to gain. Some people are even talking about mysterious "third parties." But who? There is undoubtedly much going on behind the scenes that we don't know about. So we really don't know. Probably never will, with certainty at least.

Call me a cynic but I doubt the Russkis are competent enough to do the job and successfully pass it off as the CIA's handiwork. Nor do I see what they would gain. They can turn off the flow of gas whenever they want to.

I'd say it's probably an American initiative possibly using cut-outs as hitmen.
