2022 Porsche 911 GT3 gets faster without sacrificing its best features

Tuesday marks the arrival of a brand-new Porsche 911 GT3. And while there's certainly a lot to talk about with regard to chassis components, lap times and, yes, that new rear wing, arguably the best thing about the 992-generation GT3 is that it carries on the best attributes of its predecessor.

This is your 14 year old boy news alert: I saw one of these on Wednesday down in front of the Rubio's in RSD. It had been painted electric yellow-green and a racing stripe and otherwise tarted up a bit; otherwise appeared to be stock, if you can call a 911 GT3 stock. It was driven by an ultra-skinny young woman, almost anorexic looking, who picked up some tacos. RSD is moving up in the world, I guess.
