Trump administration lays groundwork to declare national emergency to build wall - The Washington Post

The White House has begun laying the groundwork for a declaration of national emergency to build President Trump’s border wall, a move certain to set off a firestorm of opposition in Congress and the courts but one that could pave the way for an end to the three-week government shutdown.


PDT is almost Obama-like in his audacity. I'm not sure I approve.

People will cry "beware setting a precedent that the other side will use". But if he didn't do whatever it just means that the other side will set a precedent in future.
