"Prosecutorial misconduct": Judge rips DoJ, dismisses all charges against Bundys - Hot Air Hot Air

The long legal saga of the Bundys and their armed opposition to federal land management in 2014 has come to an abrupt end. Federal district court judge Gloria Navarro declared a mistrial last month over violations of discovery rules by prosecutors, who then filed motions to retry the case. Navarro put her foot down this afternoon, ordering the charges to be dismissed with prejudice — meaning that the Department of Justice cannot retry any of the defendants:

When the affaire Bundy started the media said it was a tale of the chap grazing his cattle on Federal land without paying his fees. I assume that this quasi-official account must be a pack of lies if the chap has walked.

Or is it that the original case has been buried by the sort of scandalous behaviour that seems to be customary among US prosecutors and law enforcers?
