Human rights in Cuba
Tom Smith

Maybe some of the released political prisoners could stay in one of Oliver Stone's houses that he's not using.  He was selling his ski house in Colorado for $10 million a few years back.  Maybe they could crash there for a while.  Or Michael More's.  He probably has a house or two standing empty most of the year.

Bigotry against Cuban-Americans -- i.e., ordinary Cubans who couldn't take being slaves and left the island -- is one of the American Left's chronic scandals. Another scandal is the leftist attitude toward ordinary Cubans in Cuba, which is to see them as zoo animals: look at the smiling natives in their picturesque old cars, etc. Despicable.

BTW, babalublog.com is excellent on Cuban affairs.
