Creepy new DOJ website
Tom Smith

Not to go all paranoid on you, but the new DOJ website is kinda creepy.  Since when is black an official color of the US?  What's wrong with red, white and blue?  And it's not the brief of DOJ to enforce either the common law or the will of mankind.

Looks like navy blue and gold to me, which is a pretty classy combination (think Navy and Notre Dame.)

Black is the perfect color. Under Obama's and Holder's Justice Department, only black people have rights.
For example, Holder supports Black Panther thugs with clubs preventing whites from entering voting booths.
A red, white and blue website would send the wrong message.

It is because the justice is not normal anymore.

That "Will of Mankind" definition for common law ought to really get the feminists all up in a tizzie -- what happened to Womankind? And what's the big distinction that the "new" DOJ tries to propagate with its reference to "mankind" on the one hand and "people" on the other, with "common law" being the "Will of Mankind" that "issues" from "the lives of the people" -- does that mean, in Holder's view of reality, there is to be a "new" common law to go along with the "new" DOJ?

If so, is DOJ now a part of the Legislative branch? Or is Holder just scratching the Legislative branch entirely, as well as the Judicial branch, so that all laws in the future will be "common law" that is the "will" of someone named Mankind (aka, The One) issued as The One views the "lives of the people" rather than laws drafted and passed by elected representatives in Congress with the Constitution providing limits as interpreted by independent judiciary? Scratch the Constitution.

Do not adjust the horizontal. Do not adjust the vertical. We're entering the twilight zone. Run!

It looks like they are trying to sell some high-end product like diamonds or furs.

Black is this year's navy blue.

look at the logo on the right of the page...
the sun behind the "open govt" is a barely visible grey.

Well, it may be creepy
but at least it's buggy in Opera...

actually, I've seen a very similar depiction of the sun, although in the example I'm thinking of, the sun is actually bright ...

the Atlas Shrugged book cover features the same number of visible 'rays', 17, as the new govt site.

the coincidence of the the design is one thing, but the selection of 17 rays, suggests there is a 'randian conspirator', hiding in the admin's lower echelons.

Chicago means, socialist ends. Pray for the Republic.

Oh boy, another new shiny website. How many millions did this one cost us?

Why is the government paying graphic designers for redesigned and stylized seals? Isn't the official one good enough. . . .and the proper one to be using? How many focus groups went over the contrast ratio of the text on the "just right" parchment background?

Basic functionality is all that is needed, not Web 2.01-guvbeta-cool.

Stop printing and burning money!!!!

I did notice that there was a link to report fraud, waste and abuse. Be great if they were flooded with complaints of waste with frivolous lawsuits ie AZ. The fraud by the absence of lawsuits against Sanctuary Cities. Corruption from the top down concerning the New Black Panther Party. You could throw in complete disregard for EQUAL RIGHTS and RACIAL EQUALITY, unfortunately the DOJ prosecutes based on the color of your skin and not the content of your character.

Is this any creepier than the campaign posters with the Orwellian red and blue hues?

Especially the one with the Sith light sabers framing O's portrait?

Black is tactically correct. The DOJ is merely keeping abreast of current fashions in militarized law-enforcement.
