The Reestablishment of America
Tom Smith
Hebert Myer's take at American Thinker. I don't know if I quite believe it though. Might be the RW equivalent of all the world historical transformation talk after the Onaugruation.

David Warren closed his last column with my sentiments--
Nor have we anywhere in view the sort of politicians who could ride the tiger; who have any notion how to radically downsize a government peacefully. Yet we are getting beyond the sort of thing we can vote on.

Yes, there might be just a drop of wishful thinking here. And yet, there is that tragic, romantic, long-ago allusion, "All we ask is to be let alone."
I say it again, tax revolt is s laying down of the guantlet for civil war. Vide that exchange between Gov. Christie and that schoolteacher who lied about what she was sqeezing out of the system; think about the Califonia situation. Civil war is upon us, whether we want it or not..
