Jefferson's Moose Tom Smith

I have started reading David Post's Jefferson's Moose.  It's quite good so far.  And it's available on Kindle, which is only appropriate being about new media and much else besides.  I note the book has a five star rating at Amazon with eight reviews so far.  Anyone who spends as much time on Amazon as I do (hours and hours) knows that that augers well.   Professor Post was also sensitive enough to note that there was something auspicious about the uncovering of giant prehistoric mammals underneath a law school in San Diego (not mine, but still).  I'm not sure what the deeper meaning of that is, but it must mean something.
