Blogs on the CFCF
Tom Smith
That's "Current Financial Cluster F#@k" -- if you have a better name, let me know.
This is good and seems right to me, except I think short selling might actually be a problem now, but I defer to wiser heads. I worry about bear raids triggering a degrading of a bank's credit rating, for instance, but maybe that doesn't really happen.
And Marginal Revolution is also good on this whatever it is. Tyler refers us to this by David Brooks, well worth reading.
McCain sounds like a complete idiot, but he means well. Obama is no idiot, but he does not mean well.

No, Bam is an idiot also, but yes, with bad intentions. The uh, uh, Bam is the real deal. Ayers wrote the 'soaring rhetoric' of Daydeams of My Father, but no one was there to ghost for him at Harvard Law Review, so he became the only editor never to write in it. And the only one to not go on to clerk at the Supreme Court, which wuld have revealed him. And there are nt Columbia records, and no LSATs, noting from U. of Chicago. This fellow does what the dancing masters tell him to do after they arrange the gig.
Like lie. I heard a radio add today from some Redskin former player I'm unfamiliar with. He told us McCain and Bam both would guarantee our right to keep and bear arms.
But Bam has told people many a time he does not believe Americans have the right to own guns, just as he told John Lott.
