Witcher said he was in the crosswalk when he turned around, threw his hands up and gave a middle finger towards the driver -- a gesture what Witcher admitted he “probably shouldn’t have done.”

When I was a frequent cyclist occasionally a car driver - often a taxi driver - would attempt to bully me. When I caught up with him at traffic lights I'd give his car a mighty bang on the roof. Golly, he would jump. Usually he'd be foolish enough to climb out to remonstrate with me. Then he'd take a look at the size of me and retreat to the security of his iron womb.

It's best not to waggle fingers; that's plain rude.
