Student's treasure find worth £145,000 'rewrites' Anglo Saxon history

The discovery of an “exquisite” gold pendant by a student metal detectorist is being credited with rewriting the understanding of Anglo-Saxon history.

I recommend a Beeb comedy series called The Detectorists. It's the sort of thing that might cause only a couple of guffaws per episode, but will generate lots of smiles.
