Differences between sexes slim to none, says Wharton psych professor

"Across 128 domains of the mind and behavior, '78 percent of gender differences are small or close to zero,'" explains Grant.

"A recent addition to that list is leadership, where men feel more confident but women are rated as more competent," Grant writes, linking to the American Psychological Association.

So there's this. I don't believe it, cuz I was taught differen' back when Granpa was guttin a mastadon we just kilt back on the Owyhee prairie in Idaho. "Son," sez he, "meta-studies ain't worth a bucket of warm spit. Too easy to manipulate! What with parameters and error bands and what not. Hell, you can make 'em say whatever you want!" That's what Granpa thought, anyhoo. I bet it's controverseeal. Kinda like global warming or whatever they call it. Publish a study that's against and you kin kiss your career goodbye!

If you say 78 percent of gender differences are small or non-existent aren't you implying that 22 percent are actually substantive?

You wonder, do you not, whether people like this have ever met humans?
