Saying genius or brilliant 'can alienate female students' | Daily Mail Online

It follows Oxford University’s decision to allow students to take a history exam home in the next academic year, in order to help more women get top results.

Maybe women don't do as well on the exams because they don't know as much history. This is most unwelcome news.

If you're doing a lab subject, "practical" exams are OK. Various other modes of examination might make sense for other subjects. But almost all exams should be held in properly invigilated examination halls because it's the only way to be sure who actually did the work.

History exams at home? Dear God, the weaker sex, eh?

One would think Progressives would be all over this because it is obviously not fair to male students. But then one would be stupid to believe Progressives consider this unfair. Because of the Patriarchy, of course.

If they didn't have double standards, they'd have no standards at all.
