Funnel-web and redback spiders moving into NSW homes | Daily Telegraph

And the continuing rain has many of the burrowing breeds on the move, often into human homes.

Experts said a record-breaking scorcher in February followed by the wettest March in half a century had offered up an insect smorgasbord for spiders to dine on.

The funnel web is a jolly good reason not to live in Sinny. I think I'd choose Adelaide or Perth. The dry season in Brizzie is wonderful but The Wet is just too much. Foodies might prefer Melbourne.
