I don't really understand Obamacare

Now there's this.  Just what is going on here? I'm married to a physician, and she certainly doesn't understand what's going on. She's too busy trying to get her electronic medical records program to work on our home computer and "doing tasks." Don't ask. I'm just counting on our being able to keep our coverage through her employer.  But anyway, this sounds bad, or maybe good if you want to see the whole thing come crashing down.

Who knows. On the one hand, the "limit" on out-of-pocket costs seems to be a price control that would reduce the availability of insurance. On the other hand, postponing the implementation of this dumb price control may not increase the availability of insurance, since the insurers know more controls are coming if the ACA continues to be implemented. So, who knows. But hey, there's nothing like regulatory uncertainty to keep costs down.

It takes a genius of sorts to make paying for "American health care" even more irrational.
