SAN DIEGO —U.S. Border Patrol agents intercepted a smuggling attempt on State Route (SR) 94 yesterday resulting in the seizure of nearly 26 pounds of methamphetamine.

A few years ago we wandered up the road to have a steakhouse meal. In the car park there were some odd goings-on with two cars: we suddenly realised that we'd probably witnessed part of a drug trade or some other criminal enterprise. We scurried away.
