A lot of new stuff that we spend our time thinking about is going to happen RSN - Real Soon Now, as they say in the technology world. We can now all get a Stanford education, but bricks and mortar university applications haven't fallen off a cliff. The web was going to destroy television, but TV viewer figures are still steady. Social media was going to change the face of mass marketing, but almost eight years after the launch of Facebook, nobody is quite sure how.
