One can wish for other candidates, but among the existing candidates, I like Tim Pawlenty. His speech today seems to be exactly what is needed.
People criticize him for not being dynamic enough. But the election is a referendum on Obama, who is vulnerable. The challenger needs to be someone who does not have negatives and seems plausible. And Pawlenty has that. Having a dynamic personality would be good, but seeming strong, competent, and reliable is fine.
Wish I could share your enthusiasm, but he has the excitement of a nerf football.
