I'm sorry but I don't see why the liability is so big. Is there something people are reading between the lines that I'm missing (domestic violence? his infidelity? lack of birth certificate)? Is the underlying assumption that his flaws drove her away?
Assuming that the changes in sentiment (both directions) were by Mrs. Daniels, one MIGHT hold that against her. But returning and making it work seems to speak well of both of them.

I don't hold it against them. I just think it gives a hostile MSM a lot to work with. Plus, she may not be up to the job.
