In a surprising late-night twist on the eve of the G-20 Summit in Pittsburgh, FOX News has learned President Obama will announce Friday morning a significant expansion of the consortium of countries that tackles global economic and climate change issues.

Is Fox pandering to the nut cases here? Do we really need "New World Order" in the headline? I wonder how many photos of BHO they had to go through to get one as creepy as the one they printed. I am no fan of this administration, as should be clear, but I don't think Fox should aspire to be the NY Times of the right. What I would give for a news outlet that was just universally skeptical and non-ideological.

Fox isn't very good but it stands out because the other networks are so bad. Cap and Trade passed the House on a Friday, the day after Michael Jackson died, while Fox was giving all of its attention to Jackson and none to anything else.
It's a mistake for non-leftists to expect much from Fox. Fox isn't on our side, it's merely going where the market is. The weakness of the broadcast business model, which relies on finding the lowest-common denominator of content that will draw the greatest possible attention to its advertisers, is that coverage of the sensation du jour usually crowds out coverage of serious topics. Sometimes (9/11, war, tea parties) the sensation du jour is the serious topic but more often not. Fox distinguishes itself by taking its business seriously -- it really is trying to appeal to the largest audience. The other networks seem more interested in promoting leftism.

Stupidity versus evil yet again.

This is very scary that G20 is taking our human rights away. Why isn't Amnesty International angry about this?

One more thing why isn't the American people doing something about it?
