In which country are the people most sympathetic to Israel? No, it is not the US. It is India. Here are some of the results:

These are interesting results. Of course, no surprise about the bottom three. Perhaps, the biggest surprises are Russia, Mexico, and China. Any speculations about why they scored so high?
Russian Jews? Or Russians who suffered through/under Stalin?

India has one hell of a Muslim problem. They also do a fair amount of trade with Israel, and important transfers of technology.
Russia--don't know since they are culturally anti-semetic, but they also have a large Muslim problem. The public are not following the attitudes of their government on this one.
Chinese expatriates in Asian countries view themselves and are seen as the Jews of Asia, and that may have rubbed off inside China. Further, whatever their many faults, the Chinese are very distainful of stupidity that is not their own. Most definitely to the point of racism.
G.B., France, and Spain are loaded with psychopathic Muslims, are vulnerable to Arab oil wealth, and generally use cowardice as a policy for national defence.
American support, at only 56%, has dropped fairly drastically. Arab oil wealth is a major player at universities now, and left-wing professors have far more venom than courage, so the coast is clear to make Israel the oppressor. God's joke on left-wing Jews.

The Russia results do surprise me. There are very few (though still some) Jews in Russia now- most who could left, to the US or to Israel. There is significant, often quite open, anti-Jewish sentiment there. (I lived there for a while and spend a fair amount of time there still, have many friends there, including both Russian Jews and some people whose anti-Jewish statements made my mouth literally drop open in amazement.) But, the one group more hated than Jews in Russia is the "blacks", where there means not Africans (though they have a hard time too) but Muslims. The prejudice is open, vicious, and often violent against Muslims there. I expect that many feel solidarity for anti-Muslim reasons. (It is, I think, no coincidence that the neo-fascist, eliminativist party in the Israel government now isn't a religious party but one mostly made up of Russian immigrants.)

Russians hate muslims. Remember Chechnya? Afghanistan? The growing power of the orthodox church. It's great when a prejudice against Jews is overcome by a greater prejudice against Muslims. Makes me feel warm inside.
India v. Pakistan. Really that's enough. And the anti-muslim riots.
China oppresses some Uighars in Xinjiang province. They are like Tibetans but they fight back.
As for me, I've always felt Pro-Isreali sympathy was disloyal on some level. I'm an American Jew with a complex.
