The headline says the Pope walked out of a toxic speech by a Palestinian judge, but the Pope waited for the speech to end and then shook the judge's hand. Maybe I am missing something, but that is hardly being a profile in courage, especially on a day when the Pope pledged to battle anti-semitism.
Don't get me wrong, I am not finding fault with the Pope's action. I just don't think he did anything especially brave. My problem is with the reporting, not with the Pope.
Of course, if the Pope had really walked out during the speech, well that would have been something!
