In a way, it is only fitting that the Bush Administration should end supporting this bailout of the big three automobile firms. The bailout is both bad policy and bad politics -- a no brainer, that the no-brains at the White House support. Thank god that the Senate Republicans have at least begun to fight.
As a small government Republican, I have spent my adult life warning about big government Republicanism and how that would lead to another Herbert Hoover. And, of course, we may very well have one now.
The Republican party has some growing to do. To look on the bright side, this bailout should make it easier for the party to come to a consensus on rejecting the current occupant of the White House.

Thanks for the good read, I will definitely return for an update!
