Well, here's what we needed to know. The Soviet Union Russia invades the democracy next door. McCain says Russia has to be seriously backed off, and Obama, to use the foreign policy intellectual jargon, acts like a complete weenie. Let's have a meeting, let's discuss this, oh please you big boy, stop beating up on that small person. On a certain level, face it, we need big strong man in White House. Or woman. Big strong scary woman might work too. If we let Russia crush an emerging democracy, where are they going to stop? So far I would grade Bush's performance on the Georgia crisis as being unbelievably lame. The man puts the lame in lame duck.
And while we on are the lameness of Bush, allow me to say that if a beach volleyball player invites you to slap her on the butt, then you just slap her on the butt, and let the chips fall where they may. Divorce, scandal, world war, whatever. To sort of quarter-slap her on the lower back is just unbelievably lame. W has been a big disappointment to me.

So when are you enlisting in the Georgian Army?

I suspect that Putin would have been more likely to hesitate WRT invading Georgia if Bush had not gone limp WRT Iran.
