Savage is an embarrassment
Tom Smith
Mr. Savage's latest opinings on autism. I'm not a psychiatrist, but I think by listening to his radio show a few times, you can infer there is something not right with the guy. Rage disorder or something. It's ironic that he is criticizing parents of autistic children for not being tough enough, when he so convincingly appears to be a guy who has learned he will be well rewarded for behaving badly. He has a fit on the air, and his advertising revenues go up. He has another fit on the air, and so on.
His comments on the Judge Kozinski porn case imbroglio a while back were beneath contempt. I just happened to be listening. It's too bad there's a big audience for that sort of garbage.
Given Savage's odd past (that's not his real name, of course) selling health food flim-flam of some sort I often wonder if he's not really a very successful performance artist rather than someone who actually believes the nonsense that comes out of his mouth. I guess that would be more plausible if so many people didn't seem to agree with him, though.

Michael Weiner is a true manic-depressive, wears a very high intelligence and a very low attention span, and has made his way both because of, and in spite of these things. Many people who have dealt with with afflictions and demons display a need to justify their personal methods by inflicting them on others. Limbaugh did this to a lesser extent before he was caught out.
It is not possible to know how many poeple agree with him on anything because he reverses his position not infrequently in the same broadcast. Some of his speghetti sticks agains the wall very well, some doesn't.
