Jews and the Democratic Party
Mike Rappaport
Jewish influence on American politics:
America's Jews account for a mere 2% of the U.S. population. But they have voted the Democratic ticket by margins averaging 78% over the past four election cycles, and their votes are potentially decisive in swing states like Florida and Pennsylvania. They also contribute an estimated half of all donations given to national Democratic candidates.
It is sad, and embarrassing, that Jews are so attached to the Democratic party. When this gets me down, I sometimes console myself by the fact that so much of modern libertarianism was developed by Jews. Four of the five leading figures of libertarian thought -- Mises, Rand, Friendman, and Rothbard -- were of Jewish descent, and Hayek spent his youth in antisemitic Vienna hanging around with Jews. So there!
Versus Marx and a host of other, erm, antilibertarian writers.

Dearie, Marx was baptized. His grandfathers were Jewish, but the douche himself was not.

As the anti-Semitism grows within other core constituencies of the Democratic Party, it will be interesting to see how the Jews react. Do they realign, or continue to fund the party that increasingly hates them?

Libertarian Party leaders have generally been antagonistic toward Israel (and foreign entanglements in general)and adoring of open borders. I don't think religion matters much in regard to Libertarian affiliations. But, it will be interesting to see how the rather mindless Jewish attachment to the Democrats will last when/if a Democratic administration begins to push Israel into Arab hands...for the sake of peace, of course.
