There is nothing better than watching The Deadliest Catch in HD, Stone Pale Ale in hand.

We are currently renting while we buy a house in slow motion and because of this, we don't have cable or the dish. I miss two things the most, Discovery and Turner Classic Movies. For the most part all the rest are dreadful or morally offensive (MTV and VH1 are two that come to mind).
When we had the dish, my two daughters and I loved a TLC show called Junkyard Wars. As with many things on TLC and Discovery, it was a British show.
Our current tv fare includes the four networks and PBS. As much as I dislike the biased stuff on PBS, the materials for the children are pretty good. I know some of it is a bit pc but Arthur is a great television show.
